The hostess was very helpful and thorough, the spot is unbeatable for those wishing for a leisurely stay in Inverness, and the history and charm are bar-none. We didn't dream the house would hold so many rooms or that the food/dining room view would put us in such awe. The "Scottish Grill" at breakfast was delicious, the wait staff so respectful, and the environment had me feeling that I was really taking my breakfast in a classy 1700s setting. Loved it, and have already recommended this place to family and friends!"

"Beautiful old hotel. I arrived to a beautiful old hotel lodge lobby. It’s lined with fantastic old pinewood panelled walls. The staircase was also quite nice to look at. The staff were very friendly and parking was easy. My room was clean, nice and warm. Good hot water pressure, comfortable bed and it was quiet at night. I used the Highland Hotel as a base to drive around the Upper Highlands for a few days. Definitely a great pick. I didn’t eat or drink at the Hotel, but the bar looked good with plenty of comfortable places to sit. I had a nice stay. 👍"
