Halloween in Port Aransas
Overall the place was lovely. Clean home, clean pool, short walk to the beach. Short drive to town for groceries, shopping, or food. The hide-a-bed couch was very uncomfortable but it was at least a bed. Only thing I really wished could be improved was we had to buy all the beach stuff we used. Would have been a nice touch to have a trunk full of beach accessories to use and maybe some board games to play with. The last place we rented had that stuff and made a much more fun experience for the family without having to buy everything to use. We don’t live at the beach so we don’t even have a use for that stuff at home. Other than that the place was great. We loved it. Thank you for letting us use your home. 5 stars!!!

Good vacation with a few negatives
We had a great vacation. We were there 4 days/3 nights. The complex was nice and quiet, and has great beach access via the boardwalk. The portion of the beach in front of the condominium complex is not as heavily used as closer to Port Aransas. The complex has 2 pools and 2 hot tubs. They all looked very well kept and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub each night. We enjoyed this quieter part of Mustang Island. The condo was well equipped with new appliances, new washer/dryer, furnishings & great patio furniture and very comfortable bedding. The bathrooms were well equipped and clean. There were a few negatives. The dishes we pulled out of the cabinets on the first day were dirty - still had crusted on food. And there was a skillet that had been left crusted with black burnt food. That is probably one thing that led to our finding roaches in this pan and the cabinets and a couple on the floors. Another negative was the musty smell of a unit with issues keeping down the humidity. The A/C ran non-stop the entire time, but the musty, mildewy smell was always there and we had to put things like towels and swimsuits in the dryer to get them to dry because of the humidity. At night, we sprayed essential oil sprays on our pillowcases to not have to smell it all night.

Perfect clean location
I reallY Ed enjoyed this property. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As soon as I walked in the location I was impressed how spacious and clean the unit was. Then went out to the balcony and much larger than what is shown in the picture. That was a great surprise. I flagged this location and plan on trying to stay here again

Unexpected stay
The property had much better views than were presented in pictures. it was also very roomy and decorated nicely. It definitely could have been cleaner, and we did find a very large roach. Our two biggest complaints would be that check-in communication was not very clear and due to maintenance and not very good signage. It was hard to find, the check-in place. Many elevators were not working. The biggest complaint was that there were oil rigs out in the ocean and we got tar on our feet that was very hard to get off and ruined some of our attire. That expectation was not presented in any other review or information about this from the owners.

Vacation get away for family
We had a wonderful week staying at La Mirage! The condo was greatly located right on the beach with a wonderful boardwalk to access the beach. The condo complex featured two pools, a hot tub, & a court with games. The condo and complex was very clean, user friendly and fully stocked! It was a great place to unwind, close to shopping and restaurants but far enough away to enjoy the tranquility of the serene beach and ocean! The beds were very comfortable. The deck was huge and afforded a great beach view! We cooked almost all our meals in as it was a great kitchen and dining experience. The other guests were very friendly as was the full staff. Thank you for hosting us! We will return!

This is our 3rd year to visist PA. We had a great time in spite of the weather. Loved the pool area. The condo was nice however it does need an upgrade on pots and pans.

Great Beach Property
Property was a quick walk to the beach for out little boys. Shower at the end of the boardwalk was perfect! We had everything we needed at the condo to cook all our meals and was an easy drive to town for the shops.

My family and I had a great stay! The condo was clean and nice stocked with all the kitchenware we needed! The balcony was amazing!! We had our morning coffee with an amazing view every morning! My kids loved the pool after the beach and were amazed it was 8 ft deep!

Great condo!
Perfect little condo by the beach. The place was clean and well outfitted for our long weekend. Having 2 bedrooms with queen beds and their own bathrooms was super nice. The balcony overlooked the ocean and having coffee out there every morning watching the waves was perfect. Beach access was very easy to access and the pools were clean and grounds well taken care of. 10/10 recommend

I had a group from work to pick up airport and take on a fishing excursion. I needed a location close to them and the pier. Brought my mom along to enjoy the beach. Wonderful condo, terrific staff, so very helpful. There is still construction going on from the hurricane, but didn't bother us at all. The property is well kept. The pools and hot tub were very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything needed. Extra household supplies are available at the office. We enjoyed the trip and would condsider La Mirage again.

The beach was walking distance however, please be sure to bring a good study beach umbrella and lounge chairs, the water was clear and lots of oil particles could be seen in both the water and sand on the beach as well. Swimming pools and property area were very clean. Front dest staff reacts quickly to resolve any disputes or problems in the unit. unit was very clean and salt/pepper was on hand. It was quite and a wonderful stay! Great service in everyway! It is a side view of the beach though not a front view. Still was nice...

Great Location
We enjoyed the property, the balcony was nice for evening relaxation. The location to the beach was great, just a short walk over the sand dunes. We were only a couple of miles from shopping and restaurants. The property was under construction, but other than some elevator issues, it was not a problem and did not affect us in the unit.
