Attentive host who was very accommodating. Place has all the needs if you’re visiting downtown Corning and the museum. Also extremely affordable compared to hotels.
The house is a 1850s remodeled (well done) duplex in a quiet neighborhood. It was clean and had nice amenities. Coffee maker with pods was provided, tons of towels, each room had an air conditioner, and the beds were comfy. The back patio had a robin’s nest which was fun to watch mom feed her babies. The pool table was great (I won😊). A great place for a family to stay.
House was very clean. Kitchen was nicely stocked for food preparation. Beds/linens were very nice and comfortable. Great location for museum and Gaffer District. Felt very comfortable for walking in the neighborhood. Extremely quiet area. Pool table was great especially for my teenagers. A little sparse on living area furniture for a 4 bedroom.
We needed 4 bedrooms to accommodate our bicycling group. This was perfect. Nice space for our group to relax and visit, and in the morning we were able to share a light breakfast together. The property was ckean, well cared for.
My stay here was perfect for what I needed. I was in town doing some research for a book and needed a place to sleep, write, and cook. The skylight in the breakfast area was nice. The bed was very clean and comfortable- I don't often find comfy beds when I'm out of town so that was a wonderful surprise! The owner was quick to respond to any questions I had. Corning is a cute town. Would stay again, thank you!
We used this place while racing at Watkins glen. Great value. 20 min from the track, but very cheap. For that it was clean and big and well equipped. No complains. Would come back.
The property is very close to the museum and glass blowing (walkable for glass blowing). The property has had some updates and it seems as though there are still a few updates being made. Seating was somewhat limited in the common areas (we had five people staying). The property is a little dated but the appliances and AC all worked well. It was very user friendly and much more comfortable than a hotel for a family of five. Reasonably priced for what you get in the property. There is also off street parking available in a detached garage, but I wouldn't plan to use it unless you have a small or medium sized vehicle. The property manager we very nice and responsive to questions.
We had a great stay. Felt safe. Good job explaining the parking. The only "complants " would be the stains on the rug and the poor seating in the living room. Oh ,and you can hear the train. But once you realize what it is it is fine. Great location! Great communication with the owners! Overall a great experience and I would stay here again!
Thank you!
Beds were extremely comfortable. Furniture was sparse for 4 adults. Could have used some chairs in the livingroom. But we were very close to the Museum and that was fantastic.
We came for Wineglass Race Weekend. House was close to everything, planets of space for us and all our race gear. Loved the front porch to sit and relax, enjoyed the pool table too! Amenities were much nicer than other places we’ve stayed; would def book again for a weekend with friends!
