"It's a hostel and you're not paying for anything fancy. What you get here is basic but the important things that matter are all there and done really well. Great bedding, fab shower pressure, and really lovely staff to top off the experiance. If you're looking for great quality no frills at a fantastic price, this is the place. "

"My first time staying in a hostel (we stayed in a private double room) and I was so surprised and impressed! This was nicer than many generic and dated hotels I've stayed in. The facility has a very stylish interior. It was also very quiet with only one night where a loud couple came ambling down the hallway and stomping around in the room next to us. "Great location right by Diagonal Metro station and the main shopping streets, so a good base. Surprising quality accommodations for a hostel. Only slight issue was a slight stale bathroom smell in our private room but it really didn’t affect our stay. I would use again. "

"I would definitely stay here again. Staff is friendly and I see them cleaning often. There is only two toilets and two showers on the whole floor so it can get quite messy if not maintained. Location is very good! The free all day continental breakfast is amazing. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Casa Luz is clean and comfortable. It is located near a lot of attractions without being on La Rambla which it could be crowded and noisy. Excellent service and you can have breakfast with a nice view from the six floor. "
