"The property is in the centre of Vicenza. Most, if not all areas of interest are within walking distance of the hotel. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Hotel rooms are adequate, in my case, for two people, clean with coffee or tea making facilities. ( it could do with a couple of extra hooks in the bathroom to hang towels etc.. Breakfast was abundant with a very good selection of savoury and sweet fare. "

"The hotel was nice overall. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom has plenty of space and the shower is a good size. The room was serviced and cleaned every day. Breakfast was a great deal at only 5 euro per day. Only issue I had was that I hardly ever saw anyone at the front desk. In fact, when I arrived there Sunday around 6pm, the front door was locked and nobody was at the front desk. I had to call their number and they remotely let me in. They left my room key in an envelope on the front desk. There is a great restaurant right in front of the hotel. There is also a small shopping center with a grocery store right across the street."

"I spent 3 nights in the Surf Room & I cannot recommend it highly enough. This guesthouse is a haven especially after sightseeing all day. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet & nicely decorated. Windows open to the garden courtyard so it was quiet & nice view. Kettle, fridge & TV is always great when travelling solo. You also have access to downstairs kitchen. The bathroom is big with walk in shower & there’s a hairdryer. The owner Marco was helpful & lovely to chat with. If you’re coming to Verona this is the best value for money & only about 700m walk from Vescova train station. Only 15-20 minute walk into old town. Only downside would be there is no lift & my room was on 2nd floor. Didn’t matter to me. "
