"This cottage is simply the best. Easy to find. The owners Jean Yves and Elisabeth are lovely. They speak good English and meet you on arrival/checking out. We stayed in contact with them during our stay as well. The cottage is so clean. Lots of attention to detail. Lovely sympathetically restored barn with oak beams (and not a cobweb in sight!!). "We have just returned from a week stay and I can honestly say, this property is breathtaking! The house, the pool, the grounds - it’s absolutely lovely. We were a family of 7 with different aged children and there is so much to do and see. A highlight with kids was the nearby lake ‘ Le Lac’ only a 6 minute drive where we did water sports such as inflatables and paddle boards. "The location is on the edge of a quiet village and with only subtle sounds of frogs from the pond and whinnies from the horse it was bliss. This was our 2nd stay and would love to come back again. Transport is required to access local shops but the ride out is so lovely it isnt a worry. We stayed for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and found it a good base to stay for the events. "Maddie (the owner)was there if required and very helpful. Well equipped and quiet place to stay. If you have children there is a vast amount od toys and a toy shed. There are chickens at the end of the garden and love to be fed any scraps you have left. The garden is well kept and very pleasant. I give it 5 stars."

"We really enjoyed our time @ this tiny home: it was cozy and very well decorated! You really feel like you're the only one in the world with all the space around you. The garden and surroundings are amazing and very spacious. The fact that the house has no electricity was a little bit of a surprise (found that out via another posting), but there is a battery available and we made it work! All in all: we enjoyed our time there a lot!"
