"This is a clean, comfortable house, situated about 1.5 miles from the centre of Kinsale. It's well appointed with everything you would need in a vacation rental. As the owner states, your own transport is essential. We found some difficulty with getting a taxi from Kinsale once it goes beyond 8 - 9 o'clock in the evening. The Bulman gastropub is well worth a visit, only 5 minutes by car. You need to be in good shape to manage the hills around the property if you're walking!"

"Lovely historic farmhouse but still updated with all the modern amenities you'd want. The kitchen in particular is in excellent condition and well stocked. Appreciated that there was even breakfast options like cereals out. It is likely obvious, but should be noted it is not walkable to anything and you must have a car to get to a grocery store, restaurant, town, etc. The hosts brought us fresh baked bread, butter and jam one morning, and it is the BEST bread I've ever had in my entire life. "The house was nice and quiet. It was advertised with a view of the ocean, however the hedge was so tall it was not possible to see over it for the view. In addition, the house could use a few basic instructions on the switches, stove, washer/dryer, etc readily available, in addition it would be nice to have a few more hand towels and hooks so guests can hang them to dry. Overall the place was a solid performer, lots of room to spread out; not walkable to a town but a short curvy drive in."

"We had never been to this part of Ireland. And Kinsale is a lovely area to stay around. Denise and Darlene - the delightful twin sister hosts could not have been more helpful. They were always attentive and informative but never intrusive. The property - restored by the sisters to its former glory is beautiful. "My husband and I and 1 and 5 year old stayed with 2 other families. This house was fantastic. The top bedroom is great and there was a space on the landing outside for the cot.
