"We stayed here with our teenage daughter during our first trip to Maine. The location of this flat is perfect. We walked everywhere downtown. "We chose Southwest Harbor for our birthday weekend getaway. This apartment is exactly what the photos show. The view from the living area is beautiful and the kitchen is very well stocked. Communication with the host before arrival was very smooth. We appreciated the quiet hours since noise does travel in the building. "Nicely decorated and clean top floor apartment, with spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds. It would have been nice to have a/c in the bedrooms, but the arctic breeze fans worked ok and we had a nice breeze thru the window. Great location, with local restaurants and shops down the street, and Bar Harbor only a short drive away. We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very responsive and considerate and this was the easiest checkout we've ever had. We would definitely stay here ahain!"

"Good location and adequate. Essentials were there but lacking in detail. No instructions on the heating system so you have to go through trial and error. Same with the tv set. The door lock was not working well so it was a challenge every time we used it. No fan or vent for the stove. Pretty obvious amateur renovation done. Clean and basically comfortable certainly not luxurious. "

"We are retired and getting a bit to old to navigate a sail boat. We loved the view looking at all the boats coming and going. We visited Bar Harbor, Acadia Park, We ate the best food from Little Notch Bakery. Try the blueberry pie. Its to die for. Thank you for your rental it had all we needed to feel at home."

"Fabulous accommodations - beautiful setting, just steps from the ocean in a quiet, working fishing (lobstering) cove with a trail behind the cabin. The cabin was spotless and truly had everything we might need. The excellent reviews are all true! We only regret that we didn't get to meet our hosts, but hope to go back and try again. In our opinion, the Schoodic peninsula is the best part of Acadia, and this cabin with its wonderful history is worth a return trip."
