The in room phone did not work, so every time I had an issue, I had to go down to the front desk."

My room itself was much bigger than I expected with a huge bathroom and a porch way which contained the wardrobe. Given that the hotel appeared to be almost empty I was surprised to have been given a room which was a little noisy, being beside the lift and stairs.
