"Takes some knowledge about getting around in old French towns with their little streets which are not well signed and in the case of Le Puy have a lot of hills to maneuver. So there was a learning curve the 1st couple days. And parking is a challenge. But, in the end the challenges are well worth working through. The apartment is very nice, clean, feels fairly new. The bed is comfortable (and that is coming from my wife who is tough to please)."

"The bar next door was very noisy. Friday night had music playing until 1:10am and Saturday night had live music until midnight that shook the building. The bar extractor fan by the terrace was smelly. However the apartment was lovely, cool and spacious and Lionel was very helpful when the automatic entry system failed and we were locked out. Fantastic location very near the old town and the parking in the garage was good too."

"Environnement désastreux et aussi et surtout manque d'entretien minimum. Eviter de toucher les instruments de cuisine poisseux et de déplacer le lit par exemple sauf à découvrir l'inacceptable. Il semble par ailleurs que le détecteur de fumées ne fonctionne pas. Pas une bonne publicité pour Abritel C.Verdier"

"The apartment is great for one person or two who are not too tall (the loft has a low ceiling). It’s quite nicely appointed and bright, with French doors opening onto a Juliet balcony and letting in light and fresh air. Situated just across the street from the entries the medieval city, you can walk to everything from the apartment. A great place to stay while exploring Le Puy en Velay."

"Super logement, très bien équipé. On a passé un excellent week-end entre amis. Seul petit défaut, il manque quelques protections pour éviter des situations dangereuses pour les enfants (notamment en haut de l'escalier vers la porte fenêtre de la chambre)."

"We loved the gite, it was clean, everything was well catered for and it had a great setting. Michel and Martine were great hosts and left us to enjoy our holiday but were around if we needed them. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday and would recommend to friends to stay there and we would gladly go back. The rugby matches we saw in St Etienne were great, fantastic atmosphere and great to watch with people from so many different countries attending."

"Reception staff were excellent, the room was a little "tired" but it is a budget hotel. The attached pizza restaurant was also very good value especially as we did not fancy a long walk into town. The breakfast was very good values for money at 7.5€ with small cooked offered too. Would return."

"I stayed in both the regular and the budget Ibis in Le Puy en Velay. Both were great. For the savings, I would probably stay in the budget Ibis again because it had everything I needed and it was right across from the train station. Both are convenient for touring the town or beginning the Camino."
