"The cottage lovely and is just what you need as a home from home. It is very clean and warm. My family enjoyed our time here. The kitchen is well stocked with cutlery and crockery and the dining room especially has beautiful lighting. At the moment the area outside the cottage is anything but restful with major renovations well underway to the railway. "Wonderful little cottage on a working farm. Ideally suited for Hadrian's Wall and Northumberland National Park. Val was a lovely host and if we're ever in the area again we'll certainly try to come back here"

"We had a lovely cosy stay in this comfortable cottage. It suited our needs perfectly. It is a remote property right next to the Vindolanda site, which was well worth visiting, there was free entry with the cottage. Great location for lots of walks and Hexham & Corbridge are worth a visit. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here."

"Bit difficult to find initially. Worth stating entrance is opposite Causey Arch Inn. Once there, cottages are are lovely, clean tidy and everything you need for a short break.Walking to Tanfield, the railway on a weekend"
