"This was a great place! Top of the line appliances, linens, flatware and furnishings. Very clean and new. The listing noted 32 stairs and no elevator. This was no problem for us but might be for an elderly guest. The listing was for a pet friendly place but I missed the pet fee part but it was worked out. I have never stayed in an apartment in an older building downtown over a store, it was a great experience for us. The owners put in a lot of work to make this a truly unique place to stay !"

"This cottage was perfect for 2 people. It also has space for an additional 2 people (children?) in the loft upstairs but there is only one bathroom. The house itself is very small, but it has everything you need. The kitchen has a small fridge, a microwave and a small oven/stove. We rode the Hiwassee Loop on the train and this place met all our needs for an overnight stay. It would also be a great place to stay for a rafting trip on the Ocoee."

The loft itself offered comfort, looks and amenities that were appreciated. The one exception would be the lack of privacy in the bathroom. Given that adjoining buildings are right in sight the utilization of frosted glass or such would provide appropriate privacy."
