Glimmerglen Lodge is a 3400 square foot log home, crafted in the Adirondack style, complete with new amenities and wireless high speed internet access. The 48 foot covered front porch offers stunning views of the valley. The house is appointed with artfully handcrafted furniture throughout. The large open kitchen dining plan lends well to large groups and gatherings. There are six bedrooms and five and one half bathrooms. One of the bedrooms with a full bath is located downstairs. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms with a private bath and two bedrooms which can also be a suite with a private bath. The full kitchen offers stainless steel appliances and ample counter space and island seating area. There is central air throughout the entire house and each room can be set at its own temperature. The basement is finished and furnished as an entertainment room with an air hockey table, ping pong table, mini basketball, and a sectional with a pull out queen bed. Outside amenities include 10 acres for hiking/walking, stocked pond with seating area, gas grill and furnished covered porch. Just 8 miles to the Dreams Park and 3 miles to the Village of Cooperstown. This home is the perfect vacation rental for families visiting our area, as it is close to local attractions!

Reunion of College Friends
House was perfect for our purpose - - a few days when six old college friends could get together for golf, Hall of Fame and Saratoga racetrack. Amy and Allen did a terrific job and were very helpful!

This house was perfect for our families to stay while our boys played at Dreams Park. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to feel comfortable. Most comfortable was probably our dog, who loved roaming around the expansive property! Allen was awesome to work with—super responsive with any questions we had.

Perfect Multi Family Cabin with kids
This cabin was perfect for our 4 families with young children while attending a local Baseball tourney. It had that cabin feel, was clean and well stocked in every way. Plenty of seating inside and out on front patio. So many things for the kids to do like ping pong, games, wiffle ball and fishing in the pond out front; the host even brought us poles and lures. The host was so nice and quick to respond throughout our week stay. We would definitely stay again.

11 of us, ages 73-11, visited my mom's hometown of Cooperstown for our annual family trip in August this year. We chose Glimmerglen due to it's size/location (# of bathrooms!!!) and it was everything we hoped for. Allen, the host was available to answer any questions I had and was even kind enough to offer to bring back my lost luggage from the airport. The front porch was a wonderful place for us to visit, sit and watch the deer and birds. The pond was a special treat where we caught several fish, counted frogs and watched the local beaver swim laps. The large kitchen along with 2 large tables- one inside and one on the porch, accomodated all 11 of us plus some local family memebers who came over for dinner. Plenty of plates, cups, pots/pans etc for a big group. We are not in to baseball (gasp!) so you're on your own there, but Cooperstown is only a few minutes away and the Farmer's Museum and Fenimore Art Museum are even closer. For fun on the lake, I highly recommend Time Out Boat Rentals. Running on the local back roads next to Glimmerglen is also a great way to see the area. We'll be back!

This house is lovely and lives up to its description.
The bedrooms are all a good size as are the kitchen/living areas. Everything is in top shape and very clean. There was plenty of room for 8 adults. It is just minutes to the Farmers Musuem, The Fenimore and the Baseball Hall of Fame. The grounds are lovely, secluded and we were visited by no end of deer and wild turkeys. Also it is very quiet at night for sleeping. All in all our group would definitely stay here again.

Great family friendly destination!
House is great! Plenty of room for +3 families. Kids loved the outdoor space and fishing in the pond. Allen and his wife were extremely helpful and responsive at a moments notice. Highly recommend and look forward to going back!

Perfect house for multiple families
We rented this house for 4 families coming to Cooperstown Allstar Village. This worked perfect for al of us. The kids loved fishing in the pond when we weren’t at the fields for baseball games. The adults loved sitting on the porch relaxing or sitting around the camp fire telling stories about our trip. Highly recommend this house.

Great location and wonderful owners!
We booked this great home for a 40th birthday weekend event. The house was perfect and some made some minor grumbling about the Wi-Fi, but I was pleased it wasn’t great, as most devices were turned off and we were together as a family. The location was great just minutes from the Hall of Fame, Cooperstown Distillery, breweries and restaurants. Lastly, but defining not least was the owners, Allen and Amy were attentive and stopped to welcome us. We didn’t need there assistance as the house was perfect but it was nice to know they were close by! Would definitely recommend this house for a family gathering! Again, thanks Allen and Amy!

The house is very clean and spacious, only 10 minutes from town. Cooperstown is quaint and friendly.
We loved our stay in Cooperstown. The cabin is very clean and lots of space, really nice having bathrooms with every room. Alan & Amy are so sweet and accommodating. We sat at the fire pit one night, had a blast, and enjoyed the weather and beautiful fall colors. We went to town and found such nice and friendly people, it was so welcoming. Ate some good food and loved The Hall of Fame! It was a Good Trip!

Our annual family weekend was here for the first time this year. What a great find! The Lodge is very clean and Amy very welcoming when we arrived. The kitchen has so much room and so much storage! And the double tables with options to add other tables on let us all eat together. The wood floors, walls and furniture added to the lodge feel. Our definite favorite is the covered porch with the outdoor furniture....many happy hours were spent here. The beds were very comfortable and we loved that each bedroom had a private bathroom. No fish were caught in the pond but the kids loved casting and catching ‘weed fish’. It’s only 3+ miles to the nice town of Cooperstown which was a fun place to visit. Allen and Amy went out of their way to make us feel at home! We all highly recommend Glimmerglen Lodge!
