"Visiting family before new year. Lovely single room with small en-suite but perfect for me. Everything I needed was available but in the kitchen, required more utensils for cooking. I got takeaway and used what I could, no problem with bowls/plates and kitchen appliances. Great spacious clean kitchen. Lovely place to stay, recommend. "

"We booked the Victorian room for Saturday night stay at short notice just a short time before we arrived. We was immediately sent a welcoming text message with details of where to park and when our earliest check in would be The Host, Iain greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. "Lovely family run B&B, the veggie breakfasts are nice, the rooms are comfortable, we loved the electric fire as it was a cold few days. Great location in the centre of the village next to shops and we had some meals from the chippy just down the road. Free parking on-site. "

"Property bore no resemblance to the picture on the website. Outside area full of weeds. Paint peeling off building and stairs. Window blinds filthy and mouldy. Washbasin tiny. No soap or toiletries. No bedside table or bedside light. No chair. No hangers in cupboard which had a door hanging off its hinges. Kettle useless and wouldn’t boil. No breakfast offered. Door only closed by a Yale lock so insecure "

"Room was very clean and comfortable. Large TV screen, good hot drink facilities plus small fridge. The water was very hot. Only issue was that the water in the shower was too hot to stand under and we couldn't turn it down. Good value for money, would stay again."

"The cottages are lovely, they have a cosy homely feel to them. Beds are comfy also."

"Got to the hotel to be told that there was not a room reserved for me. Apparantly the owner had stopped using Hotel.com in September, so was not expecting me. I could not be relocated as it was Lincoln Christmas Market, and all hotels were full. I therefore had to do the return journey all the way home, so wasted 4 hours and half a tank of petrol. Was told I would get a total refund to my mastercard, but then received a credit note instead."
