The Space:
Conical Hill Hideaway by Tiny Away sits in the quiet neighbourhood of Conica Hill - South Island New Zealand, just an hour's drive from Dunedin. Perfectly nestled in a private area of our small farm, overlooking a pond and farm animals to keep you company. Howl at the Moon- Gore, New World Gore, and Nugget Point Lighthouse are just an hour's drive away from the tiny house.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers) for your use.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there will be agricultural noise and tractor (or farm vehicle) noise coming down the gravel road as we are a working farm with crops and animals. Keep in mind that there may be neighbouring farmland on the site, and encourage guests not to cross the boundary.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home which has its own private driveway to and from the accommodation. For pre-orders, we have fresh eggs that can be collected with your breakfast by prior request with the host 24 hrs before arrival.

- Dolamore Park is renowned for being one of Gore's finest natural attractions, featuring 95 hectares of native podocarp forest, lush greenery, and exotic plants
- Pomahaka River in South Otago is renowned for its Brown Trout fly fishing and seasonal Sea Salmon fishing. This is available to fishermen seeking pristine, clear waters in the river.
Getting Around:
By car:
- 20 mins, 30km drive from Gore
- 1hrs 45mins, 134km drive from Dunedin. All are reachable by 2WD and 4WD.
By public transport: There is no public transportation. We recommend guests travel by private vehicle for easy access to and from our property.
By plane: If you're traveling from Christchurch, the quickest option is to take a flight to Dunedin. Both Air New Zealand and Jetstar offer regular flights between Christchurch Airport (CHC) and Dunedin Airport (DUD), with a typical flight duration of around 1 hour.
Upon arrival in Dunedin, you can opt for a KIWI cab or rent a car from a New Zealand car hire service. The fastest route to Christchurch is via State Highway 1 (SH1), which takes approximately 1 hour by car.

- Potable water is free
- GAS BBQ is available by prior notice
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Hunting activities can be arranged with the host
- Farm experience is available upon prior notice from the host
- We are a working farm that cares for crops and farm animals
- We have goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, sheep, cattle, and deer
- No smoking allowed inside the tiny home, except in designated areas
- Please be advised that we have livestock (and noise) on our property
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Farm guidelines
- As a precaution, please keep a safe distance from farm animals
- Always remember to shut the gates before entering and leaving the paddocks
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- We also ask guests not to feed farm animals as they are on specific diets for their health
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
