"Our weeks stay at the Herdsman’s House a few kms from downtown Sligo was magical. The accommodations were as advertised, impeccably clean, spacious and cozy at the same time. Spectacular views of Sligo Bay and the surrounding farmland. Sheep and cows in pasture surround the Herdsman’s House. Des and Mary made us feel like family, with great tips on places to visit, and what Ireland’s northwest has to offer. They also gave us a bit of the history of the community they cherish. "What a view! This could be from a Postcard of Ireland. I walked two blocks to world class golf at Sligo Co. Golf Club (Rosses Point). Friendly people at the local Pub and Archie was wonderful. Would go back again!"

"Great place.. well stocked kitchen.. bed comfortable and bathroom spotless.. bedroom a little dark as window was shaded by hedge..also parking only available on street (busy street) i parked about 3 min away but felt it was safer than on the street. Would definetely stay there again"
