"This is a charming hotel in the perfect location for exploring this pretty town. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The covered roof terrace is a bonus and offers fabulous views of the town. A good selection of breakfast options are available. Communication with the hotel before I arrived and throughout my stay was excellent. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Monica kindly arranged my coffee tour for Finca El Carmen, which I would also recommend. The Fleur de Lis is a place I would happily go back to. "

"This is a great property to stay at if you are looking for a small and quaint place to relax! The hotel only has a very limited amount of rooms available, which makes it a more personal experience. The food and service were excellent! The only ‘drawback’ was the lack of lighting in our room but the sunlight made up for that once you opened the curtains. It definitely is worth mentioning that if you have never visited El Salvador to be aware of the time it takes to travel there from the airport is a bit long and if you are renting a car, your best bet is an SUV or a truck.
