"Nice new hotel. Comfortable and clean. We were not happy with the arrangement for pick-up at the airport. No listing for HGI although other hotels were named on signage; we had multiple people trying to hustle us to take rides with them. Thankfully HGI shuttle driver eventually showed up and explained to us that he'd be back soon to pick us up (the hustlers kept saying (lying) that it would take 45 mins for him to return). HGI should have very clear signage at the airport and they should proactively communicate with arriving guests to make sure to only take a ride with the HGI shuttle"

"Amazing view of San Jose, including sparkling lights at night. It is high above the city which drowns out the city noise, yet just a few minutes from the airport. The surrounding trees and flowers make it so pleasant!"

"A great little place in Alajuela with wonderful tucked away rooms off a small courtyard and the best staff. When we had to cancel at last minute, they were so gracious, and when we arrived for a second visit we found the place tranquil and serene. The access to the airport is very good via taxi as well."

"We stayed here the days of our arrival and departure from SJO. Perfect for our needs. Super clean room and facilities. Recognizing they are far from town, they offer dinner and bar service in the evening. Having a nice cocktail and dinner in our room was a relaxing way to end our day."
