"The house is on a main road but once we found it and our way around to park at the side, it was easy. The house was very clean and well presented and warmed up quickly. The provision of milk, bread, eggs and butter was a lovely touch but I had ordered a shopping delivery so we had extra to take home. We cooked in the kitchen and it was very well equipped. "Lovely house and gardens, plenty of room for a family get together. It was nice that each bedroom had access to an ensuite or bathroom. The pool table was a great addition and kept both big kids and little kids entertained. We had snow while we were there and having the log burner and extra radiators to hand was great for keeping warm. Communication with host was great."

"Thornhill Lodge was perfect for our family of 7 as a home base for exploration of the area. The house was spacious and comfortable and Ross was attentive to any problems/questions we had. Everyone having their own en suite bathroom was a great plus. The Lion and Unicorn right down the street and the small store directly across the street were a pleasant addition to our visit. "

The hot tub was great and we spent time in it both days. Perth is a 25 min drive if you wish to go for a bit of shopping. We went in February and it was cold. In the better weather families would have lots to do and children have lots of room to play. "
