Breakfast in the morning was also a pleasant experience. The food was of excellent quality. Checking out was easy. I would definately stay here again "

"We had a lovely stay in a comfortable and spacious room overlooking the estuary. Our room had a small table and two chairs as well as a side table for hot water kettle and tea and coffee fixings. There was plenty of room for two of us with a gorgeous view. "

The views across the Exe are stunning and the extensive grounds beautifully kept. We plan to come back next summer so we can use the beautiful pool and croquet lawn. "The only negative we had was the bar closing on Sunday evening at 10pm, whilst that was okay, we weren’t able to stay in the lounge area to finish our drinks or just to play cards, which we brought with us had to return to our rooms and as these were separate my friend and I had to end our evening. Hotel lounges should be open for use by residents which is usual at least until 11am"
