"We were there at the start of fall and the gas fireplaces were awesome both for the ambiance and warmth on cooler days. The view from the sunroom was wonderful. We spent a lot of time enjoying the view from there. It had a nice mix of modern amenities (updated kitchen and baths) and rustic charm. The neighborhood was very cute. "Beautiful view of the lake. Nice and roomy cottage. Only downfall was no handicap bars in the bathroom and one bathroom had a VERY short toilet. We could have used a luggage rack or two also. Otherwise all amenities wete great! Looking forward to staying there again."

"When I was enrolled at UW-Madison, I lived blocks from The Doty and would have loved to live at this adorable 3-bed home! It is well maintained and really did suit our location needs, near the Overture Center. Located in student rental neighborhood, I was worried it might be loud but we slept well. "This is a basement apartment in a gorgeous neighborhood. Took us about 25 minutes to get into the campus area, which we came to see. Great WiFi, we worked during tne day, house was quiet.
