"We really enjoyed our fall weekend at The Abode. The cottage is nicely situated across the road from the beach access which allowed us to enjoy walking along the lake to watch the sunrise and spend time at the nearby state park. We enjoyed the proximity to both Port Huron and Lexington for walking and shopping. The cottage was clean, comfortable and cozy. Paula included some really nice little touches to make us feel special. "

"Overall, we had an awesome time at this VRBO! The rooms and view were beautiful! There was a lot of room and it was so great to be able to get units 1 and 2 that connect! We had a few issues with cleanliness, but the owners were very communicative and helpful. Overall a great experience!"

"Betty was there to greet us. She helped us several times to find things. My brother and I are older, so this is our perspective. Greeted with muffins, plenty of coffee and a bottle of wine. Never once did we stub our toes thanks to the night lights. We celebrated the walk-in shower. Beds were comfortable and rooms far apart, so we never were disturbed by each other. "The Boathouse was delightful. The property was clean and well situated. It was well appointed and very clean, with everything we needed and nicely decorated.
