"I hosted a 60th birthday dinner for my husband at a nearby rec hall. This home was the perfect place for me to cook and prepare all the food for my husband's dinner. It was a great spot to sit with family and fellowship. The only issue I had was that the downstairs bathroom shower handle is not on correctly. You have to turn it towards the blue and its really slippery.There were a few spiderwebs and the steps leading to upstairs are really steep. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I would stay...

"We throughly enjoyed staying at Charlie’s by the Bay. The location is amazing, walking distance to great restaurants and Lake St Clair. We've stayed in MANY vrbo's over the years but I feel "hugged" when we come here. The place is comfortable and decorated nicely, practical kitchen and laundry but for me, it's little things that set Charlie's apart ... foil, baggies, detergent, paper towels, trash bags, night lights, kleenex, shampoo, bandaids ... so thank you!! We've really enjoyed staying...

"Having previously lived in the village of Armada for 35 years, our 3 week stay felt like going home. Living in this VRBO was a perfect location for visiting family and friends. If we visit Michigan next summer, we wouldn’t hesitate to rent this apartment again. I have a couple of suggestions that would make this stay a little better. "We were in St Clair michigan for a family reunion and this was the best stay ever thanks to the marvelous location. It is right across the street from the mall and a short walk to the gorgeous river boardwalk!! It was brand new clean with big space and huge couch - more than enough room for the three of us. "first of all the code to get in was wrong and we had to try at least 5 different codes. 2nd. The refrigerator was unplugged and wasn't aware of this until the next day when the food I brought was warm and spoiled. 3rd. The tv (also unplugged) was not getting any channels. This was after I had to decipher which remote did what (pretty sure I ever got it right) and I had to change the batteries in 1 of the remotes. 4th. The water to the shower took forever to warm up and then only was luke warm...

"This property is beautiful and very clean, but it has two major drawbacks. The radiator heaters are so loud that we thought someone was breaking into the apartment when they came on after we had . Also, both nights the upstairs tenants woke us up, once because they arrived home at 1 AM, and once because they were fighting well after midnight. A comfortable stay, but not a good choice for quiet sleep."
