"The Churchill Hotel looks like it is from another era, but updates on the property show that it is being cared for with modern conveniences being added. The staff is willing to do anything to make your stay special and perfect. (Try coming in the middle of a festival with all kinds of streets closed, GPS not working, and someone coming with you to get you safely to a parking space!). Directions to whatever are never difficult for them and you are generally within easy walking distance to the major attractions of Bayeux and all the bus tours. The breakfast is perfect. We couldn't ask for more."

"Loved it! Not only is the property set on the beach, it is essentially the center point of the town - a great little beach town at that. Service was excellent! They went out of their way to arrange transport for us and kept the restaurant open for us so we could eat when we arrived late. Not the most convenient place for Normandy tours but worth the extra trek if you want a bit of beach time. Definitely plan on returning!"

"After a horrendous journey from CDG to Cannes, I was too late to check-in to the hotel, so slept overnight in the car. Reception opened at 7 am & they were very sympathetic & I checked-in straight away. Room was fine, although curtains would have been preferable to the voiles on the windows. Too much light & flashing blue lights outside didn't help. Breakfast was very good. Staff excellent. "

"A lovely place. The man on the reception there (sorry I didn't catch his name) was so helpful throughout our stay. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom looked new and was very spacious. There was a 2-headed very powerful shower and a huge sink. We enjoyed a drink from the bar when we came bath from our day out. We would definitely stay as it was such goof value and a really pleasant experience. "
