"We did spend a wonderful time with family and friends as a party of five and also three dogs. As the location is quite remote, you can enjoy absolute privacy but on the other hand, all necessary supply is in close range - if you do not fear a 45 minute walk you can reach the weekly market of the next village even by foot hiking through a light forest. "This is a charming, up to date gite in an ideal location, 3 km from Eymet, a wonderful small village in Dordogne. It is hard to get a sense of just how peaceful the location is from the photos, but we greatly enjoyed our stay. Michael and Donna were great hosts. I only wish we could have stayed longer than the 6 nights we were there. "

"Belle gîte honoured its name: within an old farmhouse this gîte was charmingly set and furbished, with access to beautiful terrace under high roof where we relaxed every night and during daytime as well. The pool is in the back garden with view on vineyards and surrounding area. Hosts Simon and Cheryl are wonderful, around and available if needed, warm and positive attitude. "Karen’s Le Chouettes is a lovely rural property that was perfect for our family. We stayed in the cottage and we found it so well laid out with plenty of privacy for everyone but many common areas to enjoy each others company. We had a few days in April where the kids were able to enjoy the pool. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were of top quality. Plenty of thick towels were also provided.
