"We were here for a conference and were so close to the event center where it was held. I think it could’ve been helpful having resources of how to use the skywalks as I think we maybe could’ve used those to get to the event center if we knew. "We spent 11 days in Dan’s place. The apartment itself was great. This is a building with several units on multiple floors so a lot of people come and go. And they don’t all appreciate picking up as we ran across spilled food multiple times between the elevators and halls. The building seemed secure. "The property was as advertised and in great shape. Perfect place for downtown Des Moines and good communication from host on checking in and out. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that outside of the loft and the first floor bedroom it could have used some auxiliary heating due to the cold. Since it was january a lot of cold air gets in through the window which isn't the fault of the host but just be prepared. We would use it again despite this. "

"This place was great. I read some of the previous reviews and besides a couple of very small pieces of trim missing and a few drywall cosmetic holes from nails it is exactly as described. Found our lock box with no problems, all codes and keys worked perfect. The location is amazing, right above Hello Marjories for an easy craft cocktail! Fresko, Centro, and Django all an easy walk. Will def stay again. "

"This location was so close to some great areas downtown in DSM, couple blocks from the sculpture park and a couple minutes from the Hoyt Sherman Place where we enjoyed a show! The building was so nice and quiet, with a beautiful patio out back to relax or swim as well!
