"Place was clean, well appointed, easy to access, very quiet. I had some wifi issues that host went above and beyond to solve. The only critique I would suggest is a larger TV as the sitting room is quite large and there’s possibly 20+ feet to the TV. Us older gentleman need the visual help. Would stay again when visiting family in the area."

"Lovely spot to enjoy watching water fowls on a marsh. Our only disappointment was that there were only 4 chairs and 4 wine glasses, although it was advertised as accommodation for 6 people. "

"Very comfortable and well stocked "

"We had a beautiful stay with 6 kids and 4 adults. The house was super clean, roomy and exactly if not better than described. We had a little hiccup at check in but easily addressed by Paul who was very communicative! We loved the front and back porch for coffee and the hot tub for relaxation. We will be back. "

"We are a group of five couples who very much enjoyed The Essex House. The host responded to any questions readily. We found the house well equipped. Beds were comfortable and all amenities were in place. Great rental for a large group. "

"A group of 4 couples got together for a weekend of friendship, fun and wine tours. The lake front location is relaxing and the cottage has everything you need for a get-away. The hosts responded promptly when notified and the weekend went as planned. Highly recommended."

"Great location in Leamington for families with young children. The lake is nearby and the park across the street was perfect to run around with our toddler. We were thankful the house was located on a quiet street. There were toys and books available for my two year old to play with. The house is beautiful and the colorful eclectic decor made it feel welcoming and comfortable. "

"A delightful little cottage on the shore of Lake Erie, just a mile or two from Point Pelee's entrance. Super clean and comfortable. Excellent mattresses and bedding! Surprisingly big backyard equipped with a fire pit and plenty of comfortable lawn chairs for viewing the stars or the waves crashing on the beach. Responsive host wants to make sure you have a great stay. Highly recommended! "

"Upon our arrival it was clear this cottage is well taken care of. Everything was spotlessly clean, lots of amenities and even a personal greeting sign. Paula was always available to answer any questions we had, which were quite limited as everything is very easy to find/use. The wineries in the area were fantastic, we particularly enjoyed North 42 and Viewpointe. The closeness of the park and marina was a massive plus for our family.y son and husband caught many fish off.the pier. We also visited the restaurant right by the marina..
