"Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"Perfect holiday in a beautiful part of Portugal. Clara is an excellent, friendly and thoughtful host and responded quickly to all our questions. The house is beautiful and very well equipped. Clara and her husband are very kind and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We are very grateful to have had such a lovely experience."

"A nossa estadia foi boa, a casa é grande e muito perto da praia de vale furado. Esta praia é muito bonita mas tem um acesso dificil com escadas. A casa não tinha no entanto algumas coisas mencionadas no anuncio, como wifi, tábua e ferro de passar ou banheira de hidromassagem. Os colchões das camas podiam ser actualizados. No geral tivemos uma boa estadia e recomendariamos."

"Lovely big traditional house with garden and bbq Very well equipped. Easily fitted two families (9 total). Would need.a car to get around as beach, restaurants, supermarket aren’t that close. Owner very helpful."

"Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Unsere Vermieter Jack und Dina waren zuvorkommend und sehr lieb zu uns und unseren Kindern. Besonders zu erwähnen sind der saubere Pool und der Whirlpool der zu jeder Zeit benutzt werden durfte. Vielen Dank für diese schöne Urlaubswoche."

"Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Chambre très propre. L'accès aux gens de l'extérieur pour la piscine pourrait être nocif surtout au mois d'août car les locataires risquent de ne pas avoir de place sur les transats. Cela n'a pas été le cas du 22 au 27 juillet. Sinon vue superbe, promenades dans le bois et quand même pas très loin de la mer (4kms). Expérience à renouveler."

"Es un hotel familiar en el que descansar en familia, con unas vistas preciosas y una piscina con muy poca gente. Los dueños muy amables, lástima que no se comuniquen bien ni en español ni en inglés... las habitaciones son “normalitas” pero para justo dormir y poco más suficientes. Lo que menos nos ha gustado ha sido la carta/menú de restaurante que tienen, es muy corta y repetitiva."

"My husband and I were traveling throughout Portugal. We wanted to see Nazare but didn’t want to stay in the touristy areas with the crowds. So we chose this house which is in the Leiria area. It’s a traditional house with much of it recently renovated . It was very comfortable. And our hosts were great!"

"Maison agréable ,hôte sympathique parle portugais et français.Nous avons pu aller à Lisbonne ,à la grotte Mira d' aire,età la plage de Vieira par contre mer agitée drapeau jaune et froide .Dans l'ensemble nous avons passé une bonne semaine au portugal."

"The location was good, the premises were clean and comfortable. The apartment could use few small simple and actually inconsequential add ons like a decent bread knife and a couple of wine glasses. We really enjoyed our stay! A great seafood restaurant a short walk away on the beach!"

"We had a great time in this village. It's so small and quiet but still close to a ton of things to do. Also very close to the beach and some fantastic seafood. My only suggestion is to put some screens on the windows. You can't keep the windows and shades open due to flies getting into the house. The homeowners were so kind and flexible, letting us check in early on our arrival date. I would recommend this house for a quiet stay in a very friendly village.
