"A lovely property matched by warm, friendly and attentive staff who were always happy to help. The room was very comfortable. I would make a suggestion for the kitchen in having a cloth or sponge to be able to wash dirty plates etc., although any used glasses and other utensils were cleaned each day, we like to clean up after using crockery etc. Maybe some tissues in the bathroom for those sniffing days."

"This hotel is top notch! Our amazing experience began with checkin which was efficient, considerate, and helpful. Parking was available across the street and accessible 24 hours a day. Our room was spotlessly clean and well-prepared for our arrival. They even left a doggie treat and blanket which was just so thoughtful and kind. I recommend this hotel to anyone!"

"The unit we had was on the 3rd floor but since the elevator was temporarily out of service, Andre, the manager carried our bags up for us. He was most accommodating. He hand the night assistant, Phillipe is also very helpful. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and there is free parking at the Convento Sao Francisco is a short 5 min walk away and it is open from 7am to Midnight so we parked our car there and either walked or took cabs to any place we wanted. I would highly recommend JR Suites."

"We LOVED our stay here! Right from when we checked in, we got a glass of champagne and a snack, followed by a wonderful breakfast hand delivered to our room the next morning. Everything was spotless, and the staff was very welcoming. The only thing that you should be aware of is there is no lift, so if you can’t do stairs, ask for a main floor suite. Highly recommend this place in Coimbra! "
