Lupine Inn Red Lodge MT

2.0 star property
6.6 out of 10, (1001)
"Even considering the fact that we were staying here TOTALLY "off-season", which ended roughly 30 days earlier (it IS close to Yellowstone, after all) when no doubt they are "fully booked" from spring thru fall, the fact that we were the ONLY customers in the entire motel was a surprise to us and, truthfully, very welcome after a long 6½ hour drive from northern Montana to visit friends. Carter Mountain Motel

2.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (254)
"The motel showed a pride of ownership that is often missing in the big-name motels. The room was clean, and the towels were snow-white and not the skimpy ones you often get. The best part was the two comfortable chairs! We were on an extended road trip and the other places had killer chairs! The exterior was well-maintained as well. A bonus was the 2-3 deer that visited to eat the shrubbery!"
Carter Mountain Motel

Green Gables Inn

2.5 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (479)
"Everything about this place was great except that the bath fans were very loud. This was an issue because they were tied to the same switch at the bathroom light, which led guests below us to leave theirs running overnight. It was very difficult to sleep. Aside from this, the property was great and we appreciated being able to stay there for a good price. Thanks!"
