"The quality of the property, particularly the downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms, is a bit shabby - feels more like a 'Home of Multiple Occupancy' than a holiday cottage. The big living space is great, though, ideal for the ten adults and 2 children in our group. The kitchen needs some TLC - the equipment is old and some of it not very good (the can opener doesn't work, the cafetiere leaks coffee grounds into your mug, one of the kettles is a bit ropey) but the mezzanine style works well in terms...

"Poppy cottage is comfortable both inside and out. The owner was lovely . Loads of information on walks in the surrounding area. "Great location, helpful hosts. Property a little tired in parts with upgrades an ongoing process. Some areas need early attention and a welcome pack of essentials, which we would happily pay for, would be useful. Adding WiFi would also be great."
