We were a family of 10 - all adult or college age children who came to ski Monarch for the second year in a row. The kids loved staying in Salida because this house was and easy drive to the mountain and walking distance to downtown Salida.fir those who don’t ski as seriously! We definitely want to return to this property!"

"So close to Salida, but you feel miles away. The pond and river and surroundings are very peaceful. The house is very comfortable and the bookshelf has a wonderful mix of books. We also enjoyed the hot tub. "

"I booked this place for my family and I to spend Christmas together and man, we were not disappointed! Beautiful views every where you looked and so incredibly cozy! The wrap around deck is lovely even in the winter and watching the wildlife all around was definitely a bonus. Only suggestion is to make sure you have decent tires if there is snow. The driveway up to the house looks like it would be a little tricky if it is icey :)"
