"Very nice spot with interesting layout. The hot water heater requires an aluminum anode rod, as your mineral mix in the well is most likely high in manganese. The sulfuric stench is such that we didn’t want to use the hot water at all. I read other reviews along the same lines, so it has been brought to the owners attention, yet not remedied. Therefore, we wouldn’t stay again unless it was guaranteed that it has been fixed. "

"There’s a lot of religious signs up in the house and also political brochures. I’m trying to get away to relax, not to be told of how much I need god in my life. "

"We had a wonderful visit for Memorial Day weekend. The house is wonderful with updated bathrooms, kitchen, W/D and even a fire pit and hot tub. Pretty much everything you need, can “unplug” if you want but we did have enough Wi-Fi for what we wanted to do. Great location, a short walk to Berkeley Springs park and pools and lots of kitschy fun shops. Several good eating places nearby and stores are convenient if you forget something. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Knit Inn. It was very well- decorated and well-stocked. Our only complaint was the floors were a bit dirty; we decided to keep our shoes on during our stay. But the bedding, towels, counters, etc were all very clean!"
