"What an awesome experience that you'll have trouble finding anywhere else!Our little float home was docked with four others on Pearl's private island just across from Tofino's harbor. It is just a 2 minute boat ride from the harbor. The home itself was cozy and dry with plenty of space for 2 people and I think wouldn't be too uncomfortable for more. The beds were comfortable and we were plenty warm. We did bring and would recommend slippers as a previous reviewer suggested.We looked out across some of the smaller islands and could see working boats, tour boats, harbor seals, sea otters, herons, and the island's eagles from our mini deck.The floating motion was quite gentle and soothing - didn't disrupt our sleep at all. We had rain, but no rougher weather at night.The toilet and shower areas were a bit chilly on our float, but completely survivable. The kitchen is small but well laid out. There are dishes and silverware, pots and pans, a nice fridge and gas (propane) stove for cooking.Plenty of towels and the beds were nicely made.I would not recommend this float for toddlers, but older kids would definitely get a kick out of it.Pearl was super responsive to our texts for transportation and help with the propane, and a pleasure to get to know a little.Highly recommend this stay!"
