"This is a lovely, comfortable house in a pretty, quiet street that is just moments away from the quayside. La Flotte is lovely and a great base for exploring the island. We have visited them all and La Flotte remains our favourite village. The light and space in the house means it is a real pleasure to stay there, even with several people, and the super wrap-around terrace and outside area make such a difference to the holiday. "We had a wonderful two weeks in this beautiful holiday home - spacious, well equipped, peaceful and excellent location near the village and beach alike. Added bonus of a pool with plenty of room around it and space to park the car and bikes. It was a fabulous place to relax and refresh. We have been to La Flotte on numerous occasions and this is the best place we have stayed in. Owner very friendly and helpful from booking all through to departure."

"The property is excellently located and has sufficient space and amenities to cater for 8 people comfortably and 10 if you have younger children- not babies. The pool is immaculately well kept and a few things like the hedge positioning and outside shower and toilet for pool use make this a fantastic place to stay for your trip to Ile de Re! "Un gîte " comme à la maison". On s'y sent rapidement bien! La localisation, à 10min à pied des commerces et de la plage, est idéale pour des vacances sans voiture. La literie est de très bonne qualité ! On reviendra. Rien à redire "

"La maison est superbement bien placée ( plage a pied et centre ville à pied ). Impasse très calme et sécurisée. Petit bémol de propreté a notre arrivée, les vitres étaient extrêmement sales avec des grosses traces de doigts. Nous avons dû les laver nous même. Les placards n étaient pas propres non plus. Malgré ça nous avons passé un excellent séjours dans cette maison et nous la recommandons pour vos vacances a la faute sur mer. Le propriétaire est sympa et arrangeant "

"We had a lovely stay at Les Grosseilleres. The house was lovely and very well equipped. The outside spaces were super and you could find sun or shade, depending on what you wanted all day long. We spent a lot of time in the pool which was lovely and warm so we could spend lots of time in there even when it was a little cold and windy on the outside! "Petit séjour pendant les fêtes, en saison hivernale. Logement tout à fait adapté. Très bien équipé et le terrain clôturé nous a permis de venir avec notre chien. Parfait. "

"Villa Roccia is great. Beach just across the road was fabulous for late evening walks…but the pool and hot tub area was the star of the holiday. The village has a couple of grocery shops with a wonderful boulangerie too. Everyone was friendly, especially the host, Carine. Wonderful holiday. Long drive from uk but French roads and drivers are so much calmer than uk, so it was stress free from Calais."

"The property near Dolus in D’Oleron is atypical for the area . It is a ranch style with loads of space, and different areas both inside and in the garden to enjoy. We had 12 people in the property for part of our stay and did not feel cramped. Arnaud was very welcoming and helpful. The pool was perfect and the air conditioning useful at times. Altogether a very charming place to stay - we hope to return in future!"

"The hob didn’t work the lights outside around the table were not working, the pool was not maintained and we were not able to swim in it . As a consequence of the cooker not working I had to pay for six of us to eat put all the time! And the food I bought from the supermarket to cook went off !! My daughter is visually impaired and fell down the steps because the lights were not working!! I contacted the manager on 10 different occasions and she did not get back to me . "The villa was exactly as described and perfect for us a family of 12 with a wide age range. The local village is a very pleasant cycle ride away and would recommend bike hire. Peaceful location and lovely pool. Owner and cleaner very helpful. Thoroughly recommend this villa. "

"In a quiet area within easy walking of city centre, beaches, local shops. Could have been better if there was a bit more information about getting around eg buses, ferries, bikes etc. Staff always polite. "

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...
