"A fabulous place to stay. Lovely sitting room never saw anyone use it would be much better utilised as a laundry ! We have been traveling for a week and would have been great to be able to get some clothes washed . Also heating was a bit of an issue no heaters on this morning and it was 1 degree !! There is a fan heater supplied and a blanket but the room then becomes stuffy . Great location and very clean but pack a hot water bottle 😊"

"What a beautiful location. When my wife and i woke up in the morning, we watched the sunrise over the Dales. The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend Throstle Nest Farm. "

"Highfield house is very close to centre of Skipton. Parking is relatively easy in the area. Our host was available when I called to ask about parking on drive and as she had finished preparing the rooms allowed us to check in then. Very helpful."

"I couldn’t stay in the accommodation. The accommodation appeared reptile infested. It is not suitable for any human being to stay in. Only fit to habit rats and other animals. The surrounding was just too bad. I am sure nobody has ever moved in there in 2 years. It looked like a death trap. This particular place should be taken off any hotel listing. "

"Extremely difficult and confusing to check in and out. Lots of different codes for doors, and very confusing regarding key safe. Little to no mention about the actual details regarding sharing a flat, other guests were extremely noisy, particularly very early in the morning Property, not in the best of conditions, with bathroom doors, not locking, which is extremely disconcerting for a shared flat. The facilities were not good, poor lighting, the whole place needed a lot of renovation...
