"Beautiful location on the mountain, overlooking rainforest below and the ocean in far distance. The house is spacious with glass wall floor to ceiling on the side facing the view. "Casa de las Aves is a fabulous property. The views of the mountains are exceptional and the birds, butterflies, iguanas and bugs will keep you occupied the entire time. We were treated to a rare visit by Scarlet Macaws! It’s a short trip into town but it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere - in a good way. Klaas and Sandra, the property managers, were fabulous! They took care of all details, from stocking groceries to arranging transportation. All in all, a fantastic experience."
