"Hotel is a bit old and in need of some upgrades. Service from the staff was great. Breakfast buffet was good, but there are better options just next/near the hotel. Location is excellent, within walking distance to Temple Bar where you'll find lots of pubs and dining options. St. Patrick's Cathedral is 15-20 min walk. Trinity College and museums are a 10 min walk."

"We were really excited about stay in the shelbourne for NYE. We felt like 2nd Class citizens for most of our stay to be honest. From the welcome at reception to the service in the resistance bar. We booked a junior suite for a family of 4 and were very disappointed with the size of the standard double beds ( we were expecting king or queen at best). The suite itself was beautiful ly decorated with a Christmas tree and somw lovely treats for the kids on turn down."
