But I found that’s in every downtown area and was in the same in Johannesburg. They do not bother you and at no time did we feel unsafe. We had a full kitchen with dishes. "Clearly was once an excellent property. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Many areas of the property were in need of upgrades and improvements. Very clean. Area near the hotel is ok during the day, caution is advised at night. "

"Hotel was very central, the market was right next door, view from room. Bathroom very small, but hotel was good overall. A fridge would have been nice.. Breakfast excellent but DON'T have dinner in the hotel restaurant. Very little choice and what we had was awful. Tasteless and cold. "Quiet and comfort! I slept well for the first time in a year. I really liked this hotel. Had a quiet room facing table mountain, a lovely tub (no water restriction at this time) and managed to have a restful night's sleep. Walkable distance to where I needed to be. Breakfast was incredible and chef accommodated my order (half-sized breakfast). Alternative milk options are available. And lovely and accommodating staff. All round a great spot to stay."
