"Beautiful location overlooking Tiber valley and Città di Castello. Short 15 min drive up from town in lovely countryside. Food in restaurant excellent with good selection of local wines and all at a reasonable price. Rooms varied but ones with a view best if available. Spa and indoor pool and seasonal outdoor pool. Staff helpful. A small priceless part of local area. Worth staying here if in area. "

"Fantastic holiday , pool was wonderful , every need catered for . The house is wonderful and the garden and loggia are fantastic . We also really enjoyed the games room . The road is quite challenging and not for the faint hearted . The location is wonderful but being rural takes a little time to get to anywhere ."

"Badia il Vingone is an old stone country house. I stayed in the top floor of a separate cottage with a roof terrace overlooking the swimming pool. Great pool. Continental breakfast which I took in the garden. Amazing views over the rolling hills of Umbria and Tuscany. Delicious dinner in the restaurant. Nadia and her family worked very hard to welcome me to the B&B and prepare and serve the dinner. Thank you"

"Great value in a lovely town. Comfortable hotel with good restaurant close to the main Corso of this charming Reniassance town. Excellent staff and thoughtful owner. Just steps from the main art museum."

"Here is a rare find in the middle of Umbria just outside Citta di Castello. Area is agricultural, quiet and safe. 5 minutes away is the town with several supermarkets and clean laundry facilities as well as the 'castle fort' itself. Our room, Room 5, was large and clean. Arezzo and parts West, Urbino and Fano on the Adriatic within two hours car drive. Spacious parking. This is an excellent place to stay and a great central location to come back to."

"I loved the stay. However, it is very particular experience some people may not be fond of! It is a bnb style, and the owner is super friendly and helpful. The property and breakfast was amazing. However, because it is an old building, you should not expect modern building style. I personally love small Italian village vibe, so I loved it."

"We were in awe! So beautiful, comfortable and peaceful. Best sleep ever on vacation. Stefano is an amazing host, very responsive and helpful. Great recommendations and knowledge of area made our visit even more special. Location is walking distance to the Grande Piazza, restaurants, groceries and a lovely bakery right across the street. "Beautiful location, very handy for the lake (swimming, pedelos etc) and with some lovely restaurants and gelatos in the local town! Views from the property are amazing, it is very quiet and peaceful"

Just great one night

"Room was cozy, easy access, free parking and very friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful and coffee was good. We had late night arrival and leafy early. Only thing in negative side was the fetter pillows. First time ever in my hotel night, me being allergic, wish I did have a choice. "
