The beach is1 mile away from hotel , when you get to the beach you have to find the spot for the chairs and umbrella . We were 3 people and they only gave us 2 chairs !!! "Nice garden and pool. The room was large with a lovely balcony. Bed is super comfy and great breakfast buffet! But for a 4 star hotel that is not normal not to have tea/coffee maker in the room as well as iron. This hotel is more a 3 star than 4 star one."

"We went to Padula to trace my family's ancestry. We planned a two day trip to Padula and were treated to excellent hospitality and comfort at the Grand Hotel Certosa. The location is perfect nestled at the bottom ot the town near the Certosa. The restaurant is excellent too and the staff was very helpful in directing us, helping us with information etc. Highly recommended for a stay in Padula."
