"The old farmhouse has a lot of character, clearly having been added onto multiple times. While quirky inside it is a very nice accommodation with a modern kitchen and spacious bedrooms. "This property is pretty expensive for a one-person weekend retreat, and I was worried I would regret it. I didn't--not one little bit. The house is so incredibly comfortable and spotless and easy. And the sauna is truly incredible. I used it a LOT. The view is lovely as well, and it's an easy drive to some great hikes. I highly recommend this place. "

"This was the perfect stay for what we needed (and more). I packed a ton of books and toys for our kids, but they didn't touch a single one. The house had a bin of toys, a bunch of games (we played candyland), stuffed animals in every room, and even a workout room we did a fun family workout in! The weather was just cold enough that we decided against s'mores, but we hung out by the water and promised the kids we'll be back when it's warmer.We also brought our dog, who we may not bring next time....

"We have stayed here twice in the last two months. Both rooms were immaculately clean! Front office staff was pleasant and accommodating both times (It was the same woman both times...I just can't remember her name. ) If you are going to stay here, you so need to bring a hair dryer, conditioner (shampoo is provided), creamer( if you don't like French vanilla)"

"Everyone was friendly including the visitors. Like all hotels in cities it was too busy around the hotel. Glad to be back in our little isolated community where it is dark at night and quiet during the day. Wish everyone could live like that."
