The second bedroom is on the 2nd floor and more geared for children but the first floor bedroom is very comfortable and both beds gave a great nights sleep. "We were in town for a friend's wedding, and so enjoyed our stay in the apartment! Not only was it a convenient 3-minute drive from the venue, but we were very close to downtown Lancaster and all the weekend festivities. Having our own private entry was a bonus due to our early flight home on check-out day. Catherine was quick to respond to any inquiries and was a gracious host. Would highly recommend this quaint apartment for your next stay!"

"Overall, the stay was pretty good. The house was well kept and beautiful. I just wish the owner was a bit more responsive because the heat in the house was not consistent. It was 20 degrees outside and no matter what you changed the thermostat to, the top floor felt like a sauna and the bottom floor was freezing. When we were sleeping, we had to open the windows of the bedrooms to not get smothered by heat, and it was specifically unbearable in my case being on the top bunk, near the ceiling...

The hosts have invested a lot of love and thought into adding special touches and providing a comfortable, immaculate cottage. We loved the treats and the fresh flower arrangements. "We loved our stay at spruce edge guest house!! My husband and I truly felt like guests here and we didn’t want to leave due to the hospitality and generosity that overflowed from this place! Lisa and Brian were great hosts and I could tell that if we needed something, they would have done what they could to make it happen, but we didn’t need anything because it was already thought out!
