"Spent the weekend at Terre Haute with friends from college. The home and grounds were beautiful! The host was fantastic and we appreciate the treat basket left out for us. The books were fantastic! It was very quiet and peaceful and I would definitely stay again. My only suggestions would be to offer a little more comfortable seating for just having coffee and catching up. Otherwise, thank you for a lovely stay."

"My teenage son and I stayed here for a 4 day swim meet at SwimRva which was conveniently about 5 minutes away. The basement apartment was very clean and extremely well put put together!. The apartment was comfortable and my son certainly enjoyed the video games on the giant tv! Sharon was extremely communicative and even left out snacks for us every morning! I would highly recommend this property!"

"We had a pleasant stay at this cozy and beautifully decorated home! It was easy to find, and we loved the inviting front porch and the spacious backyard patio—both were perfect spots to relax. The location was very convenient, with restaurants and stores nearby, making it easy to explore the area. While there were many positives, there were a couple of things that could have been better. The listing mentioned four “double bed sofas,” but they turned out to be futons that were better suited for...

"We were notified 10 min before leaving that there was a mix up in reservation. We had to be put elsewhere or cancel. A total bait and switch scheme. Dirty, couldn't even use one of the beds. Just awful. If this is an example of what VRBO has for property "landlords" VRBO is not doing their follow up well. I am fearful of using VRBO again"

"We were in town from NJ for a field hockey tournament over the holidays. Rather than stay in a hotel, we rented this property as a home base. The house was clean and cozy and we enjoyed having family meals in the kitchen and spending time together in the family room. The neighborhood is a quiet cul-de-sac and convenient to restaurants, groceries, gas and the River City Sports complex. "

"Entryway should have railings, neighbor had junk stored in the backyard and uncut grass, no safety bars in shower and step up to the bathroom, 55-gal trash can next to fridge too large and uncovered and the mattress was quite uncomfortable and difficult to get out of."

"House is great for a large family or two couples and some kids. All bedrooms upstairs. TVs in all rooms except twin beds bedroom. Quiet neighborhood. Within a couple miles of grocery store and 10-15 minutes from restaurants and shopping areas. Nice place to stay. Pets are an up charge but allowed. "
