"This is the fourth time we have stayed here, it is an excellent location, however we have noticed that its starting to look down in the dumps, not so much as the amenities, cause its one of the cheapest hotel for a reason, however, the cleanliness was a bit of an issue this time. The blinds were full of mosquito corpses, the bathroom had leaks everywhere, there were dead bugs on the ceiling, the dust on the items was kinda gross. Having said all this, still can't beat the price and location, but...

"The location is very rural and quiet. The hotel rooms are fine however the bathrooms are dated. Our room and our friends room had hairs all over the bathroom floor and in the bath so it was not clean enough. We had booked the restaurant for dinner and it was not busy when we arrived. However it took about 1h 30 for our food to arrive. We ended up cancelling our starters because it all took so long. I pointed out that a couple next to us who arrived after our table were served all their courses...

"The beautifully designed and furnished hotel still had a casual, welcoming feel. The owners live on site and are very polite and helpful, interested enough to feel engaged but not intrusive or nosy. We choose not to eat at the restaurant only because there was nothing that our youngest would have eaten but the chef was cooking on the terrace over an open flame, it looked and smelled amazing. So maybe some options for younger guests? Room was on the small side but functional for one night. A few cobwebs in the corners but that is easily fixed. Overall I wound recommend for a stay in the Alps."
