"I really enjoyed my trip. Easy to find, in the middle of the city, no problem with nearby parking space (free) the hotel was perfect for my needs. Clean, spacious room, good shower, comfortable bed, super strong a/c which is really important in the warm summer months. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and recommended a really nice restaurant 3 minutes walk from the hotel. In the morning, before my day trip I used the spa at their sister hotel (hotel Via Roma 33) just down the road...

"It felt like motel next to a highway. Reception closes at 7pm so I was a bit rushed to check in quickly. After that the lights are switched off and the hotel basically becomes dark - just like the surroundings. Off season most restaurants are closed. The room was generally clean but there were little blood stains and spots on the bed linen. The duvet was simply covered by bed linen and it did not feel very hygienic. Generally I expected more from the property given excellent rankings but...

"We had an absolutely amazing time staying at Agriturismo Podere Picciolo. Immediately upon being greeted, we were taken care of as if we were family. The hosts were so welcoming and made sure we were always having a great time. The grounds of the property are stunning, there is much to explore. It was so peaceful to disconnect and be immersed in the beauty of the scenery. We stayed for dinner each night we were there and the food was incredible! We tried many new dishes local to the area made...

"We enjoyed this nice spacious apartment. The owner Paola lives next door and was very helpful and responsive. Kitchen was well-stocked and we had everything we need. There is ample free parking nearby. Would stay here again! "

Villa Elisabetta close to Florence, private pool, park fenced

A great host

"This is a place to come to enjoy Tuscany without the tourist crush, great location just over an hour from Florence airport with superb views down the valley. Monica who is the property manager and her sister were very hospitable, bringing fresh homemade pasta and helping us with tips where to go and booking a restaurant for us. The personal touch makes such a difference compared to other rentals we've had where a local agency manages the let and doesn't give that extra care. Facilities were good, nice pool, good sized rooms, the downstairs bedroom was great as we had a wheelchair dependent amongst us. You must go to Arezzo (Monica's recommendation) , a nice town with a historic area that is worth a walk around, local castle on a hill nearby is also worth a visit. Many thanks to Monica and her sister for making our week so enjoyable."

Amazing!!

"We absolutely loved staying at Nicola’s place- it was more beautiful than we had anticipated and the view and surroundings are breathtaking. We were 4 families and the property worked great for all of us. It’s nice to have the privacy of the individual apartments and the common space to hang out together. Nicola was an above and beyond host, he helped us with every little question and request we had and even helped us arrange for a chef to come and cook for us one evening. Thank you for everything! We hope to be back one day!"

"We had a relaxing visit to this amazing Villa! Alessio and his family were so welcoming and enjoyable! The villa was ideal for our group and we had a wonderful pizza night with Alessio's mother, Catia! We also had a local chef, Linda, come in and teach us how to make local cuisine of pasta and raviloi!"

"The moment we pulled up to Casa Fontaine, our reaction was "Wow." The amenities were great, the property beautiful and the weather cooperated. They have all to be excellent

"It is an extraordinary place, an old building in the old city of Popi with wonderful views of the valley next to the Popi castle with private parking next door. However, it has many details that could improve the room, which is quite poorly decorated, with bathroom accessories of very poor quality, the mattress is old and soft. In short, the room could be of a different quality than what it is."
