The "Mill" consists of a single room about 20 square meters on the upper floor of the old stables for donkeys. Inside there are a kitchen with chairs and table, a bedroom, and a bathroom is in a separated space.
The furnishings are simple as the typical Tuscan farmer style. Outdoor balcony with panoramic view on the Poppi’s castle, the surrounding hills and the Franciscan sanctuary of "La Verna".

The "Mill" is part of farm called "Casina Rossa", already present in the cadastre "Leopoldino" of Florence’s family (Medici), document drafted of the eighteenth century.
It’s located along the ancient route "Lorenze", market and pilgrimage routes between Florence and Arezzo, across cultivated fields and woods, through medieval villages well preserved, reaching Casentino’s valley.
"Casentino" is known for its castles, shrines, monasteries and medieval villages rich in culture and art; it was the home of Dante Alighieri during exile, and many of these places are cited in the Divine Comedy, but it is also a place of prayer and meditation, in fact St. Francis retired there and received the stigmata at La Verna.
The territory, surrounded by the park of Casentino forests, is reserve of plants and wild animals, ideal for walks with mountain bike and trekking, also offers various fun opportunities: golf-tennis-football-swimming pool.
