This Historic location was so convenient to the trolley, the arts center, the gardens and restaurants. Parking was available on the property. Steve and Jackie were so welcoming, accommodating and friendly in spite of our late arrival from the transalpine train. Such a wonderful breakfast in the morning to enjoy with other guests...five stars!!

Brilliant place to stay with hosts Jackie & Steve providing a base to literally be right in the centre of Christchurch… the tram stops right out side The Classic Vilas. Large rooms and a well equipped bathroom. Dining for the large continental breakfast was in very pleasant surroundings and proper tea and coffee available all day and night. Crucially the bonus is that a bottle of port is out in the evening for when you come in. Extremely pleased we chose this place and would recommend a couple of day s stay

We had a gorgeous stay at this lovely property and will definitely return:) Our hosts were wonderful and made it feel like home with lovely touches including wine in the room and port in the hallway and such a delicious breakfast. So comfortable and loved the historical experience.

Had a wonderful one nights stay at the Classic Villa. Upon arrival, our hosts told us that we were upgraded and ended up staying in one of the nicest rooms we ever seen. Very charming and warm as a proper B&B should feel. Even though the breakfast time was from 7:30 am, the hosts were up and ready before 7 to accommodate a group of guests that were leaving earlier. There was access to coffee and treats during the day. The Villa is centrally located and most attraction points in the city are within walking distance. We will definitively stay at the Villa again when visiting Christchurch.

Steve and Jackie were amazing hosts! Enjoyed the breakfast spread they put out every morning. The property was nicely appointed. The location was great for walking to downtown, aet venues and the Botanic Gardens. Some wonderful restaurants nearby.

We loved the area as it was so lovely and very quiet-we could also walk to town or catch the tram. The hotel was lovely and we had a very enjoyable breakfast each morning. The hosts made you feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
