Follow the winding path to the bottom of the garden where you will find the Huntsbury Hideaway cottage. From its exclusive spot nestled on the hillside you have sweeping views out to sea, over the city to the alps & into the port hills.
The Huntsbury Hideaway is a boutique 2-bedroom cottage that can accommodate up to 4 people in two luxuriously furnished queen bedrooms, complete with wardrobes. Each room has its own unique view. The sumptuously lit bathroom boasts a large shower under a skylight.
The fully equipped kitchen allows you to create a full meal, heat up takeaways or simply have a wine and cheese platter. Enjoy delicious antioxidant rich drinking water on tap from the Kangen machine water filter. Relax on the couch in the lounge, a serene space, with large bifold doors that can be opened onto the verandah to really soak in the expansive views. On a sunny day, the outdoor table and chairs on the verandah provide the perfect cool spot to enjoy food and drinks and soak up the view. Stepping down from the verandah is a courtyard surrounded by a garden of natives and fruit trees.
The cottage is built to passive house standards for comfort in all seasons and has a ventilation system to ensure a pleasant temperature and good air circulation. There is also a heat pump/air conditioning unit to ensure you can heat or cool the space on the rare occasions that it is required.
