"Elia is a beautiful old property with all mod cons in a stunning location. We stayed six nights and couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay here. The house is beautifully styled and the view from the upstairs deck is stunning. Eirini was so generous with providing general food provisions including butter, milk, bread, eggs, cheese, ham, beer, fresh fruit, etc. plus all the other basics even washing powder for washing machine. "This place was nice. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the living area is comfortable. The patio is fantastic, and the view is excellent. There's a second bathroom with a washer on the patio, so you can enjoy the view and the sun while washing your clothes. A road passes directly in from of the house but there isn't much traffic on it, and because this house is up on a hill, the roadway isn't intrusive."

"We had a wonderful stay in this charming house located close to the beach. The house was spotless and well stocked with all the amenities. The view from the balcony over an olive grove to the sea was great - we particularly enjoyed all our breakfasts, lunches and dinners there. Also, the host, Nikolaos Kopanakis, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. To sum up, the location is really perfect for spending a most relaxed and delightful time on the south side of Crete."

"When we first arrived I was worried that the villa was too remote but we were close to 2 beautiful beaches and the town was only a 10 minute drive. The pool area was lovely with great views and it was good to have all en suite rooms."

"No directions via email were given to us but we managed to find the property. The name of the Villa wasn’t displayed so we didn’t know which one it was. The key doesn’t fit the front door properly and the owner was on in contactable so it was all a bit of a fraught start. Spoke to the owner two days later, who said that I had her landline number and not her mobile. Hence she didn’t reply when we couldn’t get into the property. Villa is on a very steep slope and any cars with small engines, can’t...

"Very nice villa with everything that you need for a relaxing holiday. The village is quite but the locals are very friendly. The information about the villa and directions from the owner where helpful and nothing was a problem. You would need a car for access to the villa and to explore the island. If you don't want a touristy place this is for you!"
